Dublin…and all that Jazz…

So last weekend I went to Dublin and it was awesome 🙂

I wanted to share with you all some of the fun things and also a few cultural bits and bobs that I may use as inspiration for upcoming projects…

Trinity College is home of The Book of Kells…a stunningly decorated manuscript of the four gospels https://www.tcd.ie/Library/bookofkells/book-of-kells/

Absolutely amazing artwork, hidden messages, intricate details and the colours are mesmerising…if you get a chance, please go and check it out as it is just beautiful…

…and then theres The Long Room…the Colleges old library built back in the 1700s https://www.tcd.ie/Library/bookofkells/old-library/

I love how the natural light bounces through the arches and lights up the books, bringing the library to life and celebrating it’s vast character…it’s things like this that make you appreciate the beauty of such ornate architecture…

A few other bits I found in the library…some inspiration for potential future shoots perhaps…?

Theatrical…colourful…mythical…eccentric…illustration…possibilities are endless 🙂

So I am going to be shooting very soon drawing inspiration from my recent trip…colours, tones, styles, aesthetics and light…very excited!!

Watch this space to find out more soon…I will leave you with a silly snap from the Leprechaun Museum…hehe…

Until next time…peace & love all…
