Being Mrs Dennis…

Hello 🙂

So I am finally back to do a blog post after the most wonderful 5 weeks ever…and I am now officially Mrs Dennis (…so much name changing to do…waaaa)!!  We have returned from our amazing 2 week honeymoon in Florida and the Caribbean to reminisce on the absolutely fantastic day we shared with our fabulous friends and family.

Here’s a little info on the day…

The wedding was held at Ye Olde Plough House, a beautiful vintage barn in the Essex countryside. The theme of the day was Pastel Vintage with my lovely bridesmaids dressed in different coloured Tulle midi skirts (made by my mum) and a beaut ivory beaded top. The boys were all handsome in faded blue suits, grey bow ties and brown brogues…dapper.  I know everyone says it but it really was the best day ever, even though it rained and I was forever holding my dress up to stop it getting wet, it was wonderful from start to finish. The ceremony was scheduled to be outdoor but was moved inside due to the rain (booooo…..), we had fairy lights wrapping around beams, petals on the floor, pretty bunches of gypsophillia hanging from the chiavari chairs tied with soft ivory tulle by the amazing florist, The Pink Peony…I am a very emotional person as it is but seeing that and walking down the aisle with my Dad really made me lose it…

The secret missions each guest was given on their homemade jam favours, went down a treat with ties tied around heads, new dance moves created, photobombing, dares to introduce themselves to new people and many more. Our fantastic band, Break For Cover, kicked off the evening playing some great tunes, old and new and everyone smiling and dancing the night away, which is all we could have wished for…fantastic day we will always remember!!

Here are some of my fav pics from our fab photographer Tara Lee

Thank you to all of you that came…it was magical!!

All thats left to say now is…YAY!! x
